Debt Tracking Commands
The Nudge Debt Bot tracks informal debts in your Discord server. Log debts with a command, or let the bot passively detect money conversations and send them to your confirmation inbox.
1Setup
Click "Add to Discord" and select your server. You need Manage Server permission.
The bot needs Send Messages, Embed Links, Read Message History, and Add Reactions permissions.
Type /nudge to see all commands. Passive scanning starts automatically for registered users.
2Commands
/nudge logLog a debt directly. Skips confirmation — goes straight into your ledger.

~Passive Scanning
The bot listens for natural debt language in your channels. When it detects a money conversation, it sends the debt to your confirmation inbox for review — nothing hits your ledger without your approval.
How it works
- 1. Bot detects a message that looks like a debt
- 2. Gemini AI extracts the amount, creditor, and debtor
- 3. Entry appears in your confirmation inbox on the dashboard
- 4. You review the original message and confirm, edit, or reject

Auto-detected debts always land in your inbox first. You see the raw message from Discord so you can verify before anything touches your ledger.

4Ghost Profiles
When you log a debt against someone who isn't on Nudge yet, a ghost profile is created. The bot sends them a DM inviting them to claim their profile and see their ledger.
Ghost profiles are linked by Discord ID — when they claim their profile, all existing debts are automatically migrated to their real account.
